The Construction Industry Development Board is a national body established to oversee the sustainability and growth of construction projects. If you are a contractor, you will need this registration to apply for tenders, and construction contracts.

What do I need to apply?

A registered company at the CIPC

Tax clearance certificate

Certified ID documents of directors

R1240 / 14 days

We will register you at the CIDB for you to start doing contract work, and apply for government tenders

We will assist you in getting on the database, where you will be notified of new tenders

When your company has been registered and graded by the CIDB, it qualifies to start doing contract work and apply for government tenders. Your company will also be listed on the CIDB website and the i-Tender database. You will automatically receive alerts about relevant construction tenders from the CIDB.

Pricing is for CIDB level 1. CIDB Level 2 –> 9 will require additional fees, your consultant will advise you about these fees.

Pricing does not include additional administration fee of R450 per industry category which is paid directly to the CIDB
